Chore Wars is a place where you get xp and "gold" for housework, but it's not so much fun if you play by yourself. Some of us live alone, or with spouse creatures who don't want to play or don't do housework or with parents or in other non-traditional situations, so we play Chore Wars with our dreamwidth buddies.
